The Mainstay Adjustable Pedestal w/Locking Slider & Swivel does it all. The ultimate in function, versatility and durability. The Mainstay will allow you to rotate 360 degrees and automatically lock in the straightforward position for a non-swivel, sturdy, driving experience. This boat seat pedestal sliding action has a 6" fore and aft travel, allowing you to adjust the seat fore and aft to obtain the most comfortable seating position at the helm.
Just squeeze the easy to reach handle and you can select the height that's right for you from 12 1/2" to 15 1/2", with the smooth power assisted height adjustment action.

Price was right, shipping fast but the base of the pedestal was dented. Don't know if it happened in shipping, did not want to put up with the hassle of filing a complaint, returning, etc so I banged out the dent with a hammer and I try not to look at it. I would suggest packaging item a little better next time.
