Hi, I am very happy with the purchase. I think it is a good value and will buy again. The service is great. Improvement to the marine product: (I bought a console, the plastic one). The section where you install the steering wheel is not rigid enough. I would reinforce this section either by making it thicker or by having a piece of plywood. The issue is the wheel is not as tight as it could be, also, given the cable pressure as the steering cable does not bend in a short radius, makes the steering a little off. A little more rigidity would have cured that issue. I am thinking about reinforcing that plate but it is a lot more trouble to do afterward than if it was done in first place. Another improvement is the door in the helm console. When closed it looks ok, but the velcro system is not very "deluxe," especially as the fit and finish of the stapling and backing material is pretty rough. This part looks like a compromise. Please don’t take those improvement as a big deal, for the price it is a good value and great service. Fixing those items will make a good value a great value.
