All upholstery foam is shipped shrunken and vacuum sealed. Please open upholstery foam packaging immdiately and allow the upholstery foam expand and restore to its original shape. Upholstery foam restores in about 36 to 48 hours.
Reflex Plus RP55 Upholstery Foam and Seat Cushion Foam is a firm to very firm marine foam seating (average adult weighing 190 lbs). I have placed 3 orders with your company now. All 3 have come well packaged and on time. I could not be happier that I chose Veada for my boating needs. I have ordered foam cushions, 2 helm seats, 20 yards of marine grade vinyl and misc. hinges and 2 swivel seat mounts. I will return the next time I need anything for my boat. I will also highly recommend Veada to anyone in need of boating accessories. Lastly the 2 helm seats I ordered came yesterday and they look absolutely wonderful. I will send some photo's when it is completely done.
I didn't experience any problems with the foam. It worked great. When I unpackaged it I was a little concerned because I thought it would just expand right away, but by the time I unwrapped the second package I could see that it was beginning to take its original shape. I also noticed the directions that was sent with the packaging that said to let it sit for 24-36 hours I think. I would say within 8 hours it was completely back to its original size and shape, maybe sooner than that. I have attached a few of the pics I have taken along the way. I still have the front bow cushions to replace and the back rest on the bench. I guess I underestimated the vinyl needed so that is the order I am currently waiting on. I think its turned out pretty good so far, being as I am not and have never done upholstery work before. I will send a few pics when I am completely done.
