Captains Seat 200 with Flip Up Bolster

Your seats are fantastic. Right now i'm replacing the floor and engine bunks in a 1987 classic. I will be ordering additional seats and vinyl material shortly. Don't toss out a beautiful hull just because you need the bragging rights to this year's model. - or the $60,000 bill! Thanks again,

I bought one of these bolster seats and one of the regular series 200 seats. Both are very nice and they match well together. I figured the passenger doesn't need the bolster anyway. I was originally going to reupholster my old Wise seats but after multiple quotes, I would only save $50-$100 over buying two new seats so the decision was simple to buy new. Be very careful when comparing your seats to the dimensions given on this site. I measured my old seats and then compared the measurements on this site. They were virtually identical. However, when I got the seats, they were a good bit longer and the seat was much higher. I measured my seats from the floor up and these are measured differently. So when I installed the seats in my straight inboard boat, either the engine cover wouldn't open or I couldn't get my legs between the seat and the steering wheel. Additionally, when I installed the original seat mounts, my head was above the windshield before even flipping the bolster up. I solved all the problems by mounting the seats to swivels that were bolted directly to the floor (roughly ½" off the floor). Now they're perfect but it took some effort. All things considered though, these are fantastic seats at an incredible price. I searched for a long time before deciding on these seats and most bolster seats or comparable seats are at least another $100 each.

Your customer service rep was top notch when I first started investigating the helm seats. He was great in advising color, whether it would fit my existing pedestal etc. I was really impressed with how quickly you turned a single order around like that. I tried sourcing from Minnesota & Washington State as well, but their pricing was ridiculous. (Not to suggest you should charge more of course!) There are also no manufacturers or suppliers of helm seats in Canada. There may be a market for you up here.

Thanks veada, received product on time and as ordered. The seats look great. With the matching material and carpet ordered i was able to complete the back bench seat, sun deck pad, and interior side pads to match. Two long days and my sport boat now has a like new interior. I'm canadian and had the products shipped to a border town close by and brought them into canada myself. It all went as planned until i realized i forgot my invoice. They would not let me bring in the packages without it.

A quick call to veada and they faxed a copy to customs and i was on my way. Thanks again to your office staff! I will and have recommended your company to others looking to renew their boat interiors. I'll send some photos soon. A very satisfied customer.

We are very pleased with our new helm chair for our boat. Quality was great, was just like we ordered, and delivered in a timely manner. Would use veada again and recommend to our friends.

The captains seats that we ordered look fantastic! They came quickly and we are very pleased. The only thing worth noting is that are boat is a '87 wellcraft and the alignment for the bolt patterns didn't match up although they were close. With a little customizing, we got them mounted. Very happy with the product.

Captains seats look great and by good fortune, the 8 holes on the seat bottom matched exactly with the holes on my existing pedestals. [veada note: 5" x 5" or 5" x 12" patterns on the bottom of the helm seat]

Good day. I ordered my captains seats a while ago, about a month. You told me they would ship out the 6th. They did and i got them soon after. Great job on that. I finally got my captains seats out today to inspect them and i love them. They are going to look great in my boat. I don't know how often you get people to contact you for the great job you do but i wanted to make sure i did. The flip up bolsters are a little tight but that's ok. The quality is great, the color is spot on and for the price, can't be beat.

The captains seats are beautiful, i wish there wasn't bad weather right now so i could get my boat out of storage and install them. They are going to match perfect!!! They feel very durable and look incredible!

A little disappointed, as the helm seat was damaged when it arrived. Seat was picked back up quickly with a new helm seat promised to be delivered after the 1st of the year. Communication was excellent so far. Helm seat had 2 small cuts in the face of the material and the cut out for the opening in the back of the seat was very uneven (3/8" difference from one end of opening to the other - very noticeable and sloppy cut). I would have to say that the customer service was excellent, but the product quality was not very good.

Very satisfied with the quality of the materials and the construction of the helm seats. I will probably have to end up buying the pedestals but i want to see if my old ones will fit before i buy 2 new pedestals. My in-laws also purchased boat seats from veada for their pontoon boat and the boat seats are great, we did not know at the time that we were purchasing from the same company but both the pontoon and the flip up bolsters are fantastic!!!

Hi, so far the captain's seats are great. I wish they where a little longer in the seat cushion area. When i fold the booster up to get higher my backside doesn't fit. I guess i'll have to loose weight. Thanks.

Colors are a perfect match to the remaining glastron upholstery. Installation didn't take 15 minutes or require re-drilling etc. The provided stainless steal mounting screws were ¼" short and i had to buy more, but that was not an issue. I should have checked before i took it to the lake. Comfort is great, flip up helm seat sure beats sitting on a doubled up throw cushion. Granddaughters, ages 8 and 11, can actually see when driving. Other boaters seem to appreciate that.

I had full hand waves last weekend instead of the abbreviated texas one finger wave. They now drive by themselves instead of having to sit in my lap. I stay close by, however, for safety's sake. I wish you had a "high back" version that is 4" to 6" taller, but again, that really isn't an issue with comfort - the lower version just makes it easier for the grandkids to put ice down the back of my bathing suit. Your communication during the order and shipping process was phenomenal.

It was a great experience dealing with you on my recent purchase of a helm chair and pedestal stand. The color selection helped me get a great match to my current seating. Delivery of the merchandise was exactly when promised and i was very happy with the quality and look of the seat. Installation went quickly, in fact, the seat was delivered on a wednesday afternoon and i began installation about 5:30 p.m. When i got home from work and was finished before 7:00 p.m.

That included a trip to the hardware store to get the right bolts, nuts and washers for the pedestal. An excellent product that i am sure to enjoy for a long time. Thanks!

I installed my seats today. They are a perfect match for my chris craft interior, the quality is excellent, and i am thrilled. When i unboxed them in my driveway, a perfect stranger stopped and asked to check them out and where i got them. They guy in the next slip at the marina also wanted to know where i got the new seats. The seats worked out fine and are a great addition to my boat. The workmanship in your product is excellent except for the small cushion foam - needs to be firmer. It smashes down when putting it in the raised position.

Just loved the seats your company makes! Was very pleased with the great quality,and your service department was second to none. They look great on our boat. I only wish the pedestal fit on my boat. It has an 12 inch base, yours came with a 9 inch base. That was my fault for not checking that out before i ordered it so i was forced to use the old one. I will be returning the new one soon.
