How often should I clean my boat seats?

To get the maximum life out of your boat seats, take care to wipe down your boat seats weekly with a soft, damp cloth and towel dry. For dirt or stains, view cleaning tips on our cleaning tips page.

Should I use a boat seat cover?

While boat seats are designed for the marine environment, prolong the life of your pontoon boat seats by taking care to cover them with boat seat covers, a boat cover / mooring cover or under a sheltered awning after use. Covering your boat seats is often a nuisance but can extend the life of your boat seats by years.

Is there another way to protect my boat seats besides a cover?

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant as a great way for additional protection from the sun. Sprayed on 3-4 times per season, 303 Aerospace Protectant is like "suncreen for your boat seats". Simply spray on, wetting the surface with 303 and wipe completely dry. Polish with a second clean, dry cloth to remove all excess.
