Care & Cleaning
Top Gun fabric is finished to resist surface growth of mildew, but it should not be folded and stored wet. Accumulations of dirt and bird droppings, which can support growth of mildew and result in fabric staining, should be removed periodically by recommended cleaning methods. The pigmentation in Top Gun fabric will not migrate into upholstery vinyls. If some surface rub-off should occur it can easily be removed with vinyl cleaner or mineral spirits. In areas where vigorous scubbing action will occur during towing, use of a buffer strip is recommended.
Top Gun fabric may be cleaned with a cleaning solution of 4 ozs. of Clorox and 2 ozs. of SOAP in a one gallon of warm (100 degrees F) water. DO NOT use detergents. Use a soft bristled brush to lift soil embedded in the fabric surface. Rinse thoroughly with clear water to remove soil and soap residue. After thorough cleaning, water repellency may be reduced. An application of Aqua-Tite silicone water repellent is recommended after the fabric has dried thoroughly. Use of other refinishing agents is not recommended as some may damage the coating and void the warranty.

"I am in the process of rebuilding a 1989 Baja Islander 216 and was trying to find some replacement seats. I came across Veada and was AMAZED at the selection they offered for seats and the color combinations I was able to choose from. I contacted Veada using the online chat feature and found out not only do they offer the seats that I wanted but also I was able to order vinyl to match for all the other items in the boat that need recovered I am only 2 hours away from the Veada plant in Indiana so I sent my mother to Veada one day to buy yards of vinyl for my project. She returned with vinyl that was very good quality and was VERY reasonable priced. She also advised me that everybody she had contact with at the Veada plant was very nice and very helpful, she could not say enough good things about the staff. She advised me she would love to go back up there for me when I need more vinyl. I have not just started my interior work (pictures attached) and will be ordering my seats in the next week or so from Veada. I have attached pictures of what I started with on this project and what I have completed so far using Veada products. I would love to send some completed photos when we have all the interior completed."
